![]() Already our last trips to water have been rather good fish-wise and the activity has been ramped-up considerably (see former posts). Last few days guiding our regular guest from Germany, we had seen a good sport and solid performance of our colleague. After two consequtive days on Savinja and Lepena Rivers, we yesterday changed the focus to a smaller tributary of Sava - Lipnica. A small healthy stream offering interchanging pattern of riffles and longer pools, is always in for surprise; especially when it comes to population of native fishes. By mid day the preferred tactics was active nymphing, bringin in several nice brownies. Just after mid-day snack the upcoming storm brought fishes into feeding freenzy. To make the long story short, the fishes went berserk on dries and our German colleague was droping smaller CDC dries at the outlets of pools and hooking several nice browns and bows. As they say, »pictures are worth more than 1000 words«, enjoy scrolling through the album. See you at the water! Bostjan and Sasa
